Field UP 7on7 tryouts will be held on December 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Alta Sierra Middle School (Clovis, CA).
Field UP 7on7 is an elite traveling squad based in Fresno, CA and comprised of potential NCAA skill players. This year we will feature two teams due to the abundance of talent in the valley. We refresh the roster each year with new talent that we as coaches believe can play at the college level. After exceptional success in 2014 we expect this upcoming year to be even greater. Our coaching staff is comprised of former D1 and NFL players who have a vast amount of knowledge to give to each athlete. The goal is to improve on your strengths and minimize weaknesses, without altering the schemes or techniques of your respective high school coaching staff. We stress on the importance of family, character, and education. We will require a GPA requirement this season, as we are looking for players who are academically able to sign scholarships. Our travel schedule includes Livermore (CA), Sacramento (CA), Los Angeles (CA), Las Vegas (NV), and more. Practices last 2 hours and are conducted on Sunday afternoons in Fresno. If you are player who isn't afraid of competition, coachable, humble, and dedicated to being the best athlete you can be.. we would love to see you at our tryout. All potential participants please send name, position, school, year, highlight film to info@purposefield.com for pre-screening. Athletes must be 2014-2015 freshman to 2014-2015 juniors only. The final week of the regular season is here. Leave everything on the turf. Cherish every memory. Don't end it with a "what-if" moment. Make consistent big plays and dominate your opponent. #FieldUP
Epic TD catch by former Sacramento State WR Élon Paige during the 1st annual Hornet Alumni game. #stingersup The 2014 season has been a major blessing thus far. Purpose Field athletes are excelling at high levels both on the field and in the classroom. Our in-season recovery program has also proven effective and allowed our athletes to de-stress and regain a new sense of motivation for each game week. We look forward to continued support of our young men, encouraging leadership and commitment through all that they do. #FieldUP
We have officially begun the 2014 football season! I truly look forward to Friday nights (and Saturdays) watching Field Up put on a show. God be with you, boys!
We proclaim this season as a success for all Purpose Fielders. We pray for endurance, we pray for calm, we pray for health, we pray for patience. Let this 2014 season be like no other. Let lives be changed through this sport, Lord.
This past weekend 10 Purpose Fielders went up to the mountains for a few days to relax, build friendships, learn more about God, and discover more about themselves. We all had an incredible time whether it was in the lake, at the house joking around, or on the mountain struggling to conquer that monster. The boys were excited throughout the trip and said that it gave them a better outlook on life and realizing the beauty of things outside sports and how important family and friendships are. Thank you to all the fathers who helped drive, cook, and encourage the boys. #FieldUp
