Dear Purpose Field Families:

Foremost, thank you all for the continued support, love, and encouragement in this time of change. As we all know we are under a countywide quarantine due to the virus and non-essential businesses are supposed to be closed. While our facility at Legion remains open due to the owner’s personal choice not to shut down I feel that in order to abide by the mandate and not be an unknowing contributor to any health issues we must make a small change. Until the mandate is lifted we will be conducting workouts off-site. I apologize for the inconvenience and hope everyone understands. I will make sure to have the facility put your memberships on freeze so you do not get charged in the case that April comes and we are still in this same position. If you get charged the $35.00 on the 1st please let me know.

I am exempt from the mandate as I conduct in-home therapy for elderly citizens in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My goal is to switch their times to the evening so I am able to use the daylight of morning to late afternoon for the athletes. In addition, I am involved in a lot of charity work at this time to assist with those in need so it does help to provide more free time on my end.

My proposal is to host multiple group workouts for each athlete based on skill level and/or age and main sport. This will provide more time for their outdoor activity during the week as they will be able to have double or triple days of work per week.

The group rate will equal half of what you pay for a solo 1on1 session - for example if your rate is $60/session you would be charged $30/session. This is optional of course and you may choose to apply this plan or stick to your normal solo sessions. For the normal 1x a week athletes this would provide at minimum 2 small group workouts a week. For the normal 2x a week athletes this would give you at minimum 2 small group workouts plus a solo workout. If in the case only one athlete shows up to the scheduled session that would simply count as a normal private session. Athletes are more than welcome to do both a private session + this plan as well depending on my availability as discussed above.

I have all the necessary equipment we need for strength, speed, and agility. Athletes will bring their respective sport athletic equipment (bat/mitt, cleats, soccer ball, tennis shoes, etc.), water, and also a sport/yoga mat is possible. I will do my part to keep them motivated and elevated. Workouts will last slightly over an hour with therapy as needed following.

Once you have all swiftly completed the below form I will be able to put a schedule together that works most efficiently. Please work to be as flexible as possible so I may align everyone’s schedule.

I intend to begin on March 22, 2020.
Location will vary between Alta Sierra and Woodward Park.

I am truly blessed to lead this group of young men and women and I expect to continue their growth patterns even under the circumstances.
